The Board of Regents and the New York State Education Department have authorized the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute to confer the following undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Professional Studies, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Business Administration.

SUNY Poly offers Master of Science degree programs in Accounting, Advanced Technology, Computer Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, Information Design and Technology, Network and Computer Security, Nursing Education, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, and Transformational Leadership in Nursing. SUNY Poly also offers a Master of Business Administration degree program in Technology Management. Advanced Certificates are offered in Computational Mathematical Modeling, Data Analysis, Family Nurse Practitioner, Forensic Accounting and Valuation, Nursing Education and Transformational Leadership in Nursing.
