The Peter J. Cayan Library offers support to the SUNY Poly community seven days a week during the academic year. On the first floor, the library provides access to group study rooms, collaboration spaces, and computers loaded with course-specific software. The second floor of the library is designated for quiet study, featuring more study rooms and tables among the library’s physical collections. In addition to the spaces, the library has many course textbooks for students to access during the semester. The Cayan Library is also home to a variety of essential offices and services, including the IT Helpdesk, Student Accessibility Services, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and EOP, tutoring at the Learning Center, the Writing and Communications Center (WCC), the Office of Student Success and Advising, and ACE. Librarians are also available to provide a variety of professional services, including assistance with assignments, research, and citations.
