Faculty and Students discuss their research at annual showcase

The Student and Faculty Project Showcase recently took place in the Wildcat Field House, allowing both students and members of the university’s faculty the opportunity to show off their research.

Awards were also given to the top finishers in several categories. Nikita Shah and Catherine Hagearty-Mattern took first and second in the fundamental sciences’ category, while Christina Carambia was the first-place winner in business, accounting and finance, followed by Nicholas Rossi and Daniel Pellegrino who tied for second.

In engineering and technology, Andrew Fox and Thomas Morell were first place winners, while Ethan Khan, Leo Bruno and Owen Lawrence tied for second.

Mary Sidorevich and Maya Brown won first and second, respectively, in the social sciences, interdisciplinary studies, media and information design category. And finally, in health sciences, Lauren Phetteplace, Danielle Casab, Bridget Mooney and Gloria Twal were first place award recipients, while Muris Arnautovic, Marissa Paterson, Mariana Ruiz and Michael Geddes finished in second place.
