The Robotics and Mechatronics Minor provides students with an interdisciplinary foundation in intelligent electromechanical systems. Students complete coursework in circuits, computing, and embedded systems, then build depth in either mechanical/manufacturing or electrical/control systems depending on their major. Advanced electives allow exploration of industrial robotics, autonomous mobile robots, digital control, programmable logic devices, mechatronic design, fluid power, mobile robotics, machine learning applications, Internet of Things, and design lab projects. The minor equips graduates with applied skills for careers in robotics, automation, smart manufacturing, and advanced product development.
