Accepted Student Day welcomes many

Incoming first-year students gathered on the Utica campus on March 23 to get a small taste of life at SUNY Poly.

Starting off their day in the Wildcat Field House, these future SUNY Poly students had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with various faculty members and chat with representatives from student services offices.

Students and their families were welcomed by and received a little advice on the journey ahead from some of the institution’s top administrators, including SUNY Poly Provost Dr. William Durgin, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs/Vice President for Enrollment Management Dr. Michael Manning, and Associate Provost for Enrollment Management Maryrose Raab as the day got underway.

Accepted Student Day also allowed these incoming students to take part in a mock glass, listen to a faculty and student panel, and tour the campus.
