SUNY Poly and the Oneida County Historical Society are teaming up to talk about citizenship and suffrage around the world.

On Saturday, December 2 from 1-3 p.m., SUNY Poly’s History-Interdisciplinary Studies Gender Issues in World History class taught by Professor Kristina Boylan will present their research comparing citizenship and suffrage struggles in New York State and around the world.

This family friendly program, held at the Oneida County Historical Society in Utica, includes creative, interactive stories and activities about these activists and their achievements for children in first grade and up.

The event is free and open to the public.
