The Office of International Student Services, located in the Student Center, Room S105, serves the international community of SUNYIT which includes students, visiting scholars, and faculty. Services include:
- Orientation: initial and on-going orientation programming covering various topics related to living and working in the US.
- Immigration: offering workshops on various immigration issues and assisting students in maintaining their status in compliance with immigration regulations and benefits.
- Advocacy: assisting international students with their interactions with campus, community, state and federal offices.
- Activities: organizing social experiences that complement the educational experience.
- Employment: assisting students in developing skills and experience in full and part-time off-campus work programs related to their studies (Curricular Practical Training and Optional Practical Training).
