Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behavior. SUNY Poly’s psychology program concentrates on empirical research with classes focusing on how emerging studies in psychology improve basic knowledge and provide practical applications to everyday life and real-world situations. The psychology curriculum is designed to allow students the opportunity to focus on classes and applied learning experiences that are relevant to their future goals. SUNY Poly undergraduate students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on research with faculty members, as well as gain experience in clinical field work in the community.
