SUNY Poly’s mechanical engineering technology program equips students with the knowledge and experience to design and modify components of mechanical systems, apply principles of solid and fluid mechanics to existing and new systems, generate computer-aided engineering graphics, analyze and interpret data, work effectively in small teams, communicate orally, and write technical documents. Students in our mechanical engineering technology program graduate with hands-on, practical experience in a variety of software and hardware.
