Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 U.S.C. \u00a7 1681) is federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Under Title IX, SUNY Polytechnic Institute will promptly respond to complaints of sex discrimination in a way that limits its effects and prevents its recurrence.\u00a0 SUNY Poly has appointed Title IX Coordinators to resolve complaints and address issues of sex-based discrimination and sexual misconduct, as well as dating violence, domestic violence, harassment and stalking. Applicable policies, procedures, reporting options, and resources are available at\u00a0www.sunypoly.edu\/titleix<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

These laws prohibit discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment and sexual violence.<\/p>\n
