Center for Student Involvement and Student Government

The SUNY Poly Student Association (SUNYPolySA) is the elected student government organization for the student body (undergraduate and graduate, Utica and Albany). SUNYPolySA aims to provide students a choice of extracurricular activities to make life outside of class more enjoyable both educationally and socially. Student clubs and organizations provide students with leadership opportunities and with outlets for creative expression and campus involvement. Professional, academic, and special interest clubs are open to all students. Academic honor societies are also an important component of campus life at SUNY Poly.

The Center for Student Involvement (Utica) and Student Activities Office (Albany) help create and support positive, out-of-classroom experiences and programs. Each office works closely with student leaders to foster the development of campus clubs and organizations as well as host student focused events. SUNY Poly provides an environment where all students will have every opportunity to learn and develop – inside and outside the classroom.

The listing of clubs and organizations that students can become involved in are updated each semester and are great ways to become active in the campus community.  Our offices can help you find out when and where clubs meet so you can join, learn more about what it takes to start a club of your own, find leadership opportunities, guide you to our schedule of events, and so much more! Student leadership and involvement opportunities are available for both on-campus as well as online students! We love exploring exciting new opportunities students can become a part of while at SUNY Poly. Let us know how we can help you pursue your passion!
