The minor in Community and Behavioral Health is designed for those students who are interested in the biopsychosocial health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, or anyone interested in working in health care and health-related fields.
The requirements for a CBH minor are as follows:
- SOC 100: Introduction to Sociology
- PSY 100: Introduction to Psychology
- SOC 370: Sociology of Health and Illness
- PSY 377: Health Psychology
- A minimum of one course at the 400-level in either Sociology or
- Psychology that is designated as a CBH elective.
