It’s hard to escape the melodies from the Student Center on Tune-In Tuesdays, especially when that music is just so darn good.

Once again Student Activities and the Campus Activities Board connect the campus through different genres of music and a few minutes of joy, camaraderie, and a little relaxation via mellow tunes for the Spring 2017 semester.

It all kicked off on Tuesday, February 7 with the folk-rock sounds of Hunt for Hunter, a Brooklyn-based duo with Michael Hunter on violin/guitar/vocals and Ian Hunt on cajon/guitar/vocals. A blend of both musicians’ diverse musical backgrounds, Hunt for Hunter combines classical, bluegrass, rock and folk for a unique and intimate sound.

On February 21, the SUNY Poly Music Club provided the sounds of the afternoon at the Student Center.

An additional Tune-In Tuesday is scheduled for April 4, featuring SUNY Poly’s own Lauren Knowles. It all begins at Noon in the Student Center.

Tune-In Tuesday provides live musical entertainment during the Student Center’s busiest time – lunch. The tradition began in Spring 2016 and easily became a crowd-favorite, leading many to start the first Tuesday of the month off with some music and a side of lunch.
