Broadway, Times Square, The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and SUNY Poly Admissions Advisors?

The Big Apple truly had it all on Wednesday, December 14, when SUNY Poly Admissions Advisors met with a total of 33 students at the SUNY Welcome Center in New York City, with each student getting a one-on-one meeting with an advisor to discuss the application process, what SUNY Poly is like, and what their next steps are.

For 23 of those students, who had applied early action, a surprise awaiting them during their meeting, as they were given their acceptance packets for the Fall 2017 semester.

SUNY Poly Admissions Advisors hold meetings in the SUNY Welcome Center several times each month to meet with students who are in the varying stages of applying to and enrolling at SUNY Poly.

Meeting with an Admissions Advisor is an important part of the enrollment process as for many of these students, travel from New York City to Utica can be challenging, and they would not otherwise have the opportunity to speak with an Admissions Advisor in person.

Kicking off the New Year in SUNY Poly style, Admissions Advisors head back to the New York City Monday, January 23 and Friday, January 27.
