Grabbing a bite to eat at the SUNY Poly Student Center in Utica means more than just a burger, a salad, or the cup of coffee when it’s the first Tuesday of the month.

It also means live entertainment!

That’s because Student Activities and the Campus Activities Board host Tune-In-Tuesdays, providing live musical entertainment during the Student Center’s busiest time – lunch.

Tuesday, November 1 was no exception, with indiee pop duo (and sisters) Adelee & Gentry serenading students, staff, and faculty alike during the lunch hour at the sixth Tune-In Tuesday since the Spring 2016 semester.

The event has become such a hit, that organizers say those on campus now come to expect a live musical performance every first Tuesday of the month, and they are happy to oblige.

“With a variety of showcased genres, we try or best to tap the interests of many people in our SUNY Poly family, and encourage an appreciation for the arts — music, writing, poetry, and performance, just to name a few,” said Student Activities Coordinator Alyssa Napolitano. “The response to Tune-In Tuesday has been excellent, and we look forward to continuing this campus series in the future!”
