October 2016

That’s because the campus played host to The Sitrin Stars and Stripes Run/Walk event honoring our nation’s heroes.

The day began with a 21 gun salute and a remembrance ceremony for fallen soldiers and continued with individuals and teams taking part in a two-mile walk, 5k run or 5k wheelchair race, as well as a military-inspired obstacle course in honor or in memory of a loved one who has served our nation.

More than 350 people turned out on Saturday, September 17 for the event, now in its fifth year.

All proceeds from the event went to support Sitrin’s military rehabilitation program.
