Manufacturing Day Expo coming October 28

Manufacturing supports more than 18.5 million jobs in the United States, with every one dollar spent in manufacturing creating $1.40 for the American economy.

With entry-level manufacturing engineers earning nearly $60,000 a year, it’s no wonder that SUNY Polytechnic Institute is once again celebrating New York State’s proud manufacturing history and exciting manufacturing future with the 2016 Manufacturing Day Expo!

2015 Manufacturing Day at SUNY Poly in Utica

All are welcome to attend the free Expo on the SUNY Poly Utica Campus where manufacturers from across the State will showcase their products and technologies via more than 60 interactive exhibits. Manufacturers will be on hand not only to show off their wares, but also to meet with attendees and talk about what their companies do.

There will be opportunities to learn about the numerous technical education opportunities offered by P-Techs, Community, and four-year colleges, as well as tour SUNY Polytechnic’s Utica campus.

U.S. Veterans will get the opportunity to learn more about employment opportunities in NYS manufacturing, as well as learning more about pursuing a technical education or degree.

The Expo runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28 in the Wildcat Field House.
