Boxing, History, and American Life exhibit

Boxing Gloves Stock ImageThe Gannett Art Gallery in Kunsela Hall will host “I Coulda Been a Contender: Boxing, History, and American Life.”

This exhibit opens to the public on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 with an opening reception from 4:30—6:30 p.m.

At 7 p.m., following the reception, the movie “Southpaw” will be shown, followed by a panel discussion featuring Jeff Brophy from the Boxing Hall of Fame.

The exhibit celebrates sporting history, the beauty of athleticism, and American culture and is made possible by the SUNY Poly Cultural and Performing Arts Committee.

The exhibit runs from January 27 to February 26, 2016.

The Gannett Gallery is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
