Gallery features Digital Video Project

Just in time for the start of the fall semester, the Gannett Gallery is featuring something special for new and returning students. A “Digital Video Project” by Ryan Lizardi, assistant professor of digital media, is on display through September 25. An opening reception will be held September 2, 4:30 p.m.

“The digital video project was born out of a discussion I had with Elizabeth Rossi about the digital video summer camp I ran for high school students over the summer,” Lizardi says. “We wanted to take the content generated during that camp and display it alongside content generated by students in my video courses . . . bringing together digital video from students and the community.”

The Gannett Gallery is located on the main floor of Kunsela Hall campus in Marcy. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. For more information, e-mail castelc@sunyit.edu or call 315-792-7819.
