Governor Cuomo announces SUNY high-needs program funds
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced on August 27 that the Utica campus of the newly merged CNSE/SUNYIT was among those campuses receiving “high needs” program funding for a second year. Overall, the Governor announced nearly $7 million in awards to the SUNY High Needs Program “to support workforce development in fields that are projected to substantially grow across the State.”
Utica campus programs receiving second-year funding are: Cybersecurity & Information Technology, $137,500; Renewable Energy, $165,000; Engineering-Engineering Tech, $165,000; and Nursing, $151,000.
