Psych & soc club fundraiser is March 21
SUNYIT’s student psychology and sociology clubs are organizing a benefit for Equine Assisted Therapy Programs at Upstate Cerebral Palsy and Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program. The group’s 11th annual benefit dinner will be held Friday, March 21, 6 p.m., at Dibble’s Inn, Vernon.
The event will include dinner, entertainment and raffles/auctions. Event organizers will also honor Louis B. Tehan, CEO and President of Upstate Cerebral Palsy, for all his outstanding contributions to individuals with disabilities, and Donald Hanson, chair of the SUNYIT College Council, for his support of SUNYIT students.
Tickets for the event are $45 for the general public, $25 for students. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the College Association, 315-792-7341, ca@sunyit.edu. Over the past ten years, the Psychology and Sociology Club has raised nearly $100,000 from this annual event in support of area non-profit organizations.
