Social Security Workshop
On February 11, SUNYIT will host a workshop on Social Security. This is a great opportunity to explore how Social Security will affect your overall retirement and to learn what you can do now to start planning for your future.
The workshop will be held in the Student Center multipurpose room from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Please feel free to bring your lunch as you take the time to think about your retirement expectations and assess your financial situation.

VALIC Individual Counseling Sessions
VALIC is an authorized investment provider for the SUNY Optional Retirement Program. Mark Nardella and/or Brian Perdew with VALIC will be on campus for individual counseling sessions on January 14, February 18, March 18, April 15 and May 15. Sessions will be held in Kunsela Hall A227. Please remember that it is a good idea to meet with a representative once a year to go over your retirement account.

TIAA-CREF Individual Counseling Sessions
TIAA-CREF is an authorized investment provider for the SUNY Optional Retirement program. Fred Ballantyne with TIAA-CREF will be on campus for individual counseling sessions on January 16, February 13, March 5, April 2, May 7 and June 11. Sessions will be held in Kunsela Hall A227. Please remember that it is a good idea to meet with a representative once a year to go over your retirement account.

New Empire Plan Prescription Card
Effective January 1, 2014, the Empire Plan Prescription Drug Program is administered by CVS Caremark. Letters were mailed to Empire Plan members from CVS Caremark and you must take this letter to your pharmacy because it contains updated information your pharmacy will need to process your prescription billing records. This letter is available online at http://www.caremark.com/portal/asset/NYSHIP_TempID_Empire.pdf.
