Two long-time staff members retire

Faculty, staff, former colleagues and other well-wishers said farewell to two long-time administrators last month. Bruce E. Reichel, vice president for administration of SUNYIT, and Anthony F. Panebianco, associate vice president for human resources retired effective February 15. A reception was held in the Student Center pub.

Prior to serving as vice president for administration, Reichel was director of facilities from 1986-2002. Panebianco was SUNYIT’s chief human resources officer from 1978-2013. Both were honored at February’s College Council meeting with resolutions thanking them for many years of service to SUNYIT.
