Sala Qazi, professor emeritus, presented “The Use of Nanotechnology in Photovolatic Energy” at the 10th International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT 2012), December 17-19, 2012, Islamabad, Pakistan. The conference was organized by COMSATS Institute of Technology; sponsors included the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and IEEE. He also conducted a workshop, “Nanotechnology: Applications, Opportunities and Challenges,” January 9-10, at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Wah Engineering College, Pakistan.
