Lecture series presentation to explore digital politics
The Provost’s Lecture Series continues on Friday, November 16, with a presentation by Steven M. Schneider, professor in the communication and humanities department, entitled “Digital Politics, Circa 2012: Explorations in Cyberarcheology.”
Schneider will explore “digital artifacts” collected by SUNYIT students during the 2012 campaign and discuss the ways in which “digital politics circa 2012” can be distinguished from previous electoral cycles. The presentation in Donovan Hall G152 will begin at noon on November 16.
The Provost’s Lecture Series allows SUNYIT faculty to share their research interests and activities with colleagues and the campus community. Presentations are usually held the fourth Friday of the month.
