Domestic Students
All new graduate students are required to submit a monetary deposit to reserve their seat. Upon course registration, the deposit amount is subtracted from tuition due. Under no circumstances will a deposit be refunded after classes begin.
Fall Admission
Domestic graduate students* accepted for fall admission must submit a $150 tuition deposit and confirm their enrollment in the portal by May 1. For students accepted after April 1, the deposit is required within 30 days of acceptance. A refund of the tuition deposit will be granted upon written request until May 1 or for students accepted after April 1, within 30 days of the date of deposit before the start of classes.
Spring Admission
Domestic graduate students* accepted for spring admission must submit a $150 tuition deposit and confirm their enrollment in the portal within 30 days of acceptance. A refund of the tuition deposit will be granted upon written request within 30 days of the date of deposit before the start of classes.
* US veterans are not required to submit a monetary deposit but must reserve their seat in the enrollment portal.
Tuition deposits are non-refundable after the first day of classes for any term.
International Students
Fall Admission
International graduate students accepted for fall admission must submit a $250 non-refundable tuition deposit and confirm their enrollment in the portal by May 1 to reserve a seat in the class, as well as secure any scholarship or funding offers made at the point of acceptance. For students accepted after April 1, the deposit is required within 30 days of the date of acceptance. The deposit is not transferable to another semester.
Spring Admission
International graduate students accepted for spring admission must submit a $250 non-refundable tuition deposit and confirm their enrollment in the portal. The deposit must be submitted within 30 days of the date of acceptance to reserve a seat in the spring class, as well as secure any scholarship or funding offers made at the point of acceptance. The deposit is not transferable to another semester.
Tuition deposits are non-refundable after the first day of classes for any term.
Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit Policy for International Students
The tuition deposit for international students is non-refundable, except in cases of visa denial.
A student may request a refund of the tuition deposit, minus a non-refundable processing fee, only if their visa application is officially denied. To be considered for a refund:
- The request must be submitted in writing within 10 calendar days of the visa denial notice.
- No refund requests will be accepted after the official start of classes.
- The student must provide official proof of the visa denial, along with supporting documentation including, but not limited to:
- Visa appointment confirmation
- SEVIS I-901 fee payment receipt
- Any additional documents as requested to verify the denial and application process.
All documentation will be reviewed before a refund decision is made.
