The Office of Career Services at SUNY Poly offers students a variety of services to support them with all of their career development and planning needs. Some of the services included resume and cover letter writing, interview prep and mock interview workshops, job and internship search assistance, major and career exploration, industry networking and individual career coaching. The department hosts a career fair every semester, welcoming more than eighty employers across a variety of industries. Students are strongly encouraged to visit Career Services as soon as they arrive to campus. Visiting the office and connecting with our staff will provide students the opportunity to learn all of the essentials no matter where you are in your career exploration and development. Every student has access to Career Services’ premier career management system, Handshake which connect students to over 80,000 employers across the country. Students will also be able to search for on campus employment opportunities as well as internships through our active network of employers and schools, in addition to seeing all of Career Services’ workshops and events happening throughout the academic year. Alumni are also eligible to utilize the services and resources for as long as they need to.
