Graduate MS IDT Educational Objective Statement

All applicants to the MS Information Design & Technology program at SUNY Polytechnic Institute must submit an educational objective statement. The statement will be reviewed for both content and construction and should not exceed 500 words. The guidelines for the statement are detailed below.

  • Prepare a statement that responds to the following: 1. Describe your reasons for seeking admission to the MS IDT program. 2. Explain how your academic and/or professional experiences have prepared you for graduate coursework in this specific field. 3. Identify immediate and long-term professional goals and how you will contribute to your professional field upon completion of the program.
