2025 Commencement: Participation Form – SUNY Polytechnic Institute Forms

Being a formal commencement, graduates who participate in the ceremony must wear full regalia. Regalia orders must be submitted by March 7, 2025 to be guaranteed that you will have appropriate regalia. After March 7, students can purchase in-stock regalia. Caps and gowns can be purchased through this link https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1052687/SUNY-Polytechnic-Institute/. May graduates: The official degree date is May 10, 2025. All materials and final grades must be received by Registrar before the end of business on May 30.

August graduates: Students who are graduating in August 2025 must also fill out a Petition to Attend Commencement. Failure to fill out this form, and/or late submission of this form may impede your participation in the Commencement Ceremony.

Access to this form will be turned off at 3pm on Wednesday, May 7. If you wish to submit an RSVP after that time, you must contact the Office of the Registrar directly at registrar@sunypoly.edu during regular business hours.

LOCATION: SUNY Poly’s commencement ceremonies are scheduled in the Wildcat Field House (on campus)

CEREMONY DATE: The College of Engineering ceremony will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025.

TIME: 10:00am (Graduates MUST arrive at Donovan Hall G172 no later than 9:00am)

CEREMONY TICKETS: Graduates are limited to 5 guests. Tickets will be distributed with your cap and gown
